Sorry i have not written for a while as you probably aware i had retail premises and the Online shop as from last September i no longer have my retail premises  and im dealing Online and mail order only as you’ve gathered i have had a few hectic months so i will promise i will write more often so please  look around the site as we are currently updating all the time at www.simplyhealthy.co.uk .

And for everyone it liked the BABES stories,there will be more shortly.

As you know christmas is just around the corner and so is Babes’ birthday. To get into the swing of things, Babes has cut down on her Champers intake and is on healthy cocktails ! When she said she had a cocktail for breakfast I got a bit concerned ! I was almost afraid to ask however I was gobsmacked by the response !Babes’ morning cocktail consists of:

A measure of Bio-Strath to fend off any viruses, colds, flu and fatigue;

A measure of Woman’s Noni Juice to balance her hormones;

A capsule of Oil of Evening Primrose to keep her skin in check - as I’ve said previously she has suffered adult acne since her late 20s.

She mixes all of this with Tropicana Orange Juice to increase her Vitamin C intake.

And finally, she slaps on some Jason’s anti-ageing skin renewal. 

She is looking even more gorgeous - and she can actually get out of bed in the morning being only slightly grumpy ! Her bedtime reading (obviously when I’m not there) is Jan De Vries Autobiography ‘A Step at a Time’. He issued signed copies at the Harrogate Trade Show. Babes loves it ! She now lectures me about herbal remedies ! If I had a quid for every time she says ‘Jan De Vries says……………………’ blah blah blah ! She says he is inspirational ! I think we already know that.

I’ve ordered her a massive dose of Milk Thistle to detox over the festive period - she is sure to need it ! I’ve taught her to order on-line and take advantage of my Xmas Bonanza - well we need all the savings that we can get - especially when you have to save for diamonds - I think I will change her name to Diamond-Lil - perhaps not, she will just get even more big ideas !

I received lots of messages about my trip to Harrogate and ‘Babes’ being my new product tester. I think most people who contacted me realised that Babes is no easy woman to please !

She has been trying all sorts of ’stuff’ - her word not mine !

What has impressed her recently ????

Z-GEL (on-line NOW)

After weeks of far too much Champers, her fingers had swollen so much due to water-retention - or ‘champers-retention’ in her case ! As a result of this some of her finest diamonds were cutting into the base of her fingers and becoming red and sore ! Two options: 1) get the gorgeous rings that her previous husbands had bought her cut off unceremoniously at a local jewellers !? no not my Babes !, or look for a natural remedy ! Well thank goodness for Z-Gel ! Within a day ot two the soreness had healed. She contemplated returning the expensive jewels back on her pretty fingers - but then got this flash of inspiration ! No, leave space for someone to buy her new ones ! Aye, that will be shining bright ! She also decided to use the Z-Gel to calm her skin after she had overdozed on too many products ! and yes, it had the calming effective that those with sensitive skin crave when their skin is red and irritated - she tries to make me red and irritated some days but how can you get annoyed with your favourite ‘tester’ - mmnnn !!!!?????    

She found lots of other uses for Z-Gel ! When I complained about a sore on my heel - well I do run a health store and stand all day - whey-hey, out came the Z-Gel. Fabulous when rubbed on by a beautiful woman - you know what I’m saying ? !

Her favourite item can still be found in her make-up bag if you forage through the 25 lip glosses ! Jason’s Age Renewal Mousturizing Creme - she loves it to bits ! She claims she gets younger as the day goes on - some might say she looks better as she sobers up throughout the day ! her staff are insistent that she sits at her desk and re-applies the stuff all day ! goodness knows who is running her business whilst she is looking more gorgeous ! Anyway, make-up bag size - she loves it !

I’m now getting my cracker ready for Xmas - Simply Detox Patches (see on-line) are making sure she sobers up for Xmas so that she can hit the champers again on Xmas Eve and dazzle on Xmas Day ! With any luck she will stay awake for Xmas Dinner this year ! Ho Ho Ho !

As you know I visited the Trade Show in Harrogate. The lady in my life decided to join me this year - let’s just call her ‘Babes’ !.

Until fairly recently she has shown little or no interest in our industry. I have used the ‘drip-feed’ method to educate her and was surprised to see a wee glimmer of hope as she confessed to taking Bio-Strath every day since she suffered a severe viral infection in May. Her GP prescribed Penicillin the result of which being that she was very sick in her car whilst dropping me off at the store - Nice !

When she entered the Trade Show her eyes lit up with the array of products and the willingness of representatives to demonstrate their use. I couldn’t believe it when she chatted knowledgeably about Goji Juice and how the health benefits increased by adding Gin due to the health benefits of the Juniper Berry - obviously I dragged her away !

By the end of Day 1 she had gathered a fabulous wee collection of samples that she agreed to test for me and give me her views - I thought what a hoot this is likely to be ! Anyway, here’s the outcome of her ‘testings’:

Jasons Aloe Vera Shampoo :

She liked this as it was fresh and left her hair very soft - as she has long fairly thick hair she decided that it would be more beneficial to use the same produce conditioner. She was happy with the result but admitted that she would be more likely to stick to her usual products due to her hair being regularly coloured - but would happily recommend it.

Saaf Range:

She tried the skin care range of  Organic Deep Cleanser, Organic Skin Boosting Serum and Organic Shower Gel. These products were luxuriously packaged and she hoped would be a real treat. Well, she wasn’t disappointed. Having suffered adult acne since the age of 30 years and been on repeat prescritions for a number of years, she is very wary about face products. After rather a lot of Champagne, wine and Gin, her skin was not at its best ! She loved these products ! They improved her skin immediately and ended up with a healthy glow - even after all alcohol was confiscated ! She looked even more gorgeous - and that is quite difficult for Babes !

I couldn’t believe the interest she showed at some of the seminars - Jan De Vries she thought was inspiring - and Nik Imrye gave an intriguing insight into plants that he had found in the woods (his garden)- and whatever he managed to blag from the hotel gardens ! She stayed totally awake throughout and didn’t looked bored even once ! Result.

What are the symptoms of Type 1 diabetes ?
